Why you should never wear the same shoes every day.

Unlike many women, and even a lot of men, I've always been the kind of woman with only one pair of shoes that I wear almost every day because they're so comfortable! Otherwise, I'm almost always barefoot or wearing socks around the house.

However, since I work with the Portofino Shoes, I am increasingly on the lookout for the world of footwear. And I'm not just talking about fashion trends, but about what's good and what's not for the health of our feet. Recently, I discovered that we should avoid wearing the same shoe every day ... Did you know?

Experts agree that for the health of our feet and that of our shoes, we must rotate.

First, it's not a fashion issue nor a marketing tip. The rotation of the shoes is excellent for your feet and all the other joints connected to it (ankles, knees, etc.) since inside the shoes is often a shock absorbing cushion. It takes time to replace when it has been crushed by the wearing of the shoe all day, so it must be given time to rebound.

Then, if you didn’t know - this part is less chic, but just as true – I’ll tell you that your feet sweat. Yes, everyone sweats from their feet even if they don’t feel it. It’s therefore necessary to leave enough drying time between the wearing times, and apparently, 12h isn’t enough.

It’s important to let your shoes "breathe" so that they last longer, that they keep their shape, but also for a better health of your feet. After all, who would like to put on a pair of shoes whose layers are still a little wet? If you are prone to athlete's foot, this advice is all the more true!

The experts also suggest acquiring a wooden shoe tree. Like this:

This is the ultimate friend for your shoes, not only will it help them keep their lovely shape, i twill also absorb the humidity.

Well, there you have it, come to think of it, I might have to buy another pair of shoes ;)
