What not to wear after 50 years

When you Google "what not to wear after 50", you can choose from thousands of articles that will tell you what's terrible about the body of an older woman.

We could spend hours studying the clothes we shouldn't wear past that age, the language we shouldn't use and the make-up techniques we need to wear to retire.

You're over 50, seriously, wear what you want. If you're in your fifties and you still have to look at articles on how to dress properly, then you're missing out on one of the best things about being in your fifties. One of the best aspects of aging is realizing that we don't have to spend our energy worrying about what other people think and that we are comfortable in our skin.

But there are still some things that women over 50 shouldn't wear, here they are:

Shame and regret

There are so few people who can wear this look. Most of us end up looking haunted or like we've been forced to eat something that disgusts us. Shame and regret are especially hard to bear after fifty years. The downward spiral only snowballs from there on. We tell you, enjoy life and love yourself !

The weight of the world

When you carry the weight of the world on your shoulders, you grow old. If you like to feel the weight of the world and you don't want to give it up, try to reduce your weight a little. Not your physical weight, but your mental weight, lighten up on other people's opinions and your past. Live !

Tough upper lip

There is a time and place for the severe upper lip but you can't wear it all the time. A stiff upper lip causes those weird vertical lines between the upper lip and the holes in the nose. You don't have to be stoic all the time. Smile instead, happiness suits you better !

Resting angry face

Hahahahahahahaha, it's a joke ! Wear that one as long as you want. Although it wouldn't hurt if every once in a while you had a nice, friendly look on your face. At least, that's what I hear others say. Once again, a smile suits you better !

There's nothing wrong with getting advice on how to update your look or what to wear, but we're just flooded with these stupid articles, aren't we ? Be yourself and do what makes you happy!

Who says what's appropriate? From our point of view, it seems that "appropriate" changes are based on geography, social status, income and size. After a while, the advice becomes fuzzy and confusing. So be yourself and do what you want to do, right ?
