Give Christmas a magic touch!

I’ve noticed that holiday magic is fading from year to year ... I stopped for a moment to think about what I wanted to offer as gifts for the children this year. It’s not always easy to find the perfect gift because we all have a lot of things. What are we missing? As far back as I can remember, decorating the house and the tree was one of the most magical moments of the year. When I was a child I participated with great naivety and great anticipation of night the jolly bearded with his bag on his back would arrive. What if that’s what we were missing? Our childlike hearts, our naivety? Our wonder?
This year, I want to stop the time and enjoy every moment. I want to create magical moments! Beautiful memories to remember as a family for the next few years. My December calendar will be filled ... with little touches and wonder filled appointments. Snowshoeing and hot chocolate, reading Christmas stories, singing with your family, listening to Christmas movies ... How about going to pick and cut a Christmas tree and decorate it all together? Cook several cookie recipes with friends and let each of them leave with an assortment of cookies to enjoy and share ... Take a walk and watch the Christmas decorations, throw a snowball in the process. Stop the time…
Plant a pine cone with the smallest ones and grow a Christmas tree with magical dust ... Leave footprints from the chimney to the tree, made with flour to imitate the footsteps of the jolly bearded man. There is so much to do! Let's introduce new traditions! The senses awake, eyes filled with stars. Back to basics! This year, it will be a family Christmas.
I want to offer what I can’t offer with my money. Do you remember the pleasure of falling asleep in the guests' fur coats? Nothing in the world can erase these memories from my mind! Let us give ourselves the right to find our childlike wonder! There is no expiration date to magic! Let's create it! For Christmas I want to offer this magic touch, and I realize that it’s a gift I offer to myself as well. And you, are you nostalgic?
