Did you know that it is recommended to drink 1.5 to 2 litres of water per day? Proper hydration is essential to prevent fatigue and to allow the body to function properly. If this seems harder to reach, the following might help! 1. The reusable bottle

One of the simplest tricks is to get a reusable bottle and bring it everywhere with you! This way, you will have no excuse not to hydrate. You can drink at any time, in an environmentally friendly way!

2. Flavour your water

Sometimes what prevents you from drinking water is the fact that you find the taste annoying. So you can improve it by adding fruit, citrus, mint, cucumber, etc. Be creative! 3. Drinking at set times

By drinking at set times, you will build habits into your routine. So you will be sure to meet your “quota” of water for the day. With a large glass of water when you wake up, two glasses at each meal, and another in the afternoon, you already reach the daily goal of a litre and a half. If this is difficult at first, you can set alarms or surround yourself with notes!

4. Hydrate with food

You can also hydrate with certain foods, there is more than just water! Some foods are almost exclusively water: the tomato contains 94% and the watermelon more than 90%. Cucumber is also a very good option since it contains about 97%. Eating these water-rich foods allows you to rehydrate while providing fibre, vitamins and antioxidants. Hydrate while eating, pretty nice, right?

That’s it! Thanks to its simple little tricks, you can stay hydrated during the hot season, but also during the rest of the year. And now, go have a nice glass of water!
